Old hanging light fixture in shaft house at Becker Bates Mine
Some of the original wiring with porcelain insulators is still present in the shaft house at The Becker Bates Mine in Central City Colorado. The window faces south and provides additional light from above. The newer wood was placed for support in this old structure...Gold was discovered here in 1859.
